Trying something new tonight - to restart my effort to develop my basic Mandarin vocabulary.
Writing the Chinese Simplified characters on 3x5 index cards on one side, and the pronunciation and English definition on the other side.
Starting slow with 3-5 cards per day.
My characters are shaky, rough - like a toddler trying to write the first characters of the alphabet.
