playwright, 1829–1869; published in 1844). The story takes place between 1625 and 1628.
The 1993 film adaptation is a favorite.
The last line is from Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) a science fiction series - which was ad-libbed by Edward James Olmos, in his role as Commander Adama.
