Just spent 20 minutes looking high & low for something.
Perhaps it fell into the garbage bag and I threw it away?
Perhaps I left it on the deck, and a sneaky dock neighbor stole it in the middle of the night (there have been recent reports of such things on other boats on my dock).
Perhaps while moving things around - I left it buried under a pile of gear that now sits on the port-side settee?
After exhaustively searching all possible places on the boat - I wearily dropped into my seat on the starboard side settee.
As I looked toward the galley area, where I first searched - and where it should have been - I asked myself - how could it have gone missing? It SHOULD be there!
Using my ultra-bright 500 lumen tiny keyring USB light - I decided to get on the floor and look once more - in the place where it should have been.
And, I found it. wedged back in a shelf, under the stove.
Lessons learned:
What is lost, may, in fact - just be you.
